Toast

Wanting dinner after a movie, I remembered that a new restaurant had moved into the space formerly occupied by Fill, a dueling piano bar on the Isle of Palms Connector.  I headed over and discovered “Toast”, an expansion of the restaurant on Meeting. I wasn’t all that excited at first but ended up having a great time.

The lively and interactive performance for the audience makes for an enjoyable experience for all!

It was only the second night that they were open for dinner and there were 2 outstanding pianists taking requests and entertaining the crowd. They were cute and fun and an added bonus.  The meals were not outstanding, but the price was a bargain. I hate it when critics are hard on a restaurant when they have just opened so I’m just going to say that while the food needs improving, I will be back for the overall experience. Our waitress was wonderful and what the place lacked in ambiance it made up for in lively activity.

Toast has four locations around town: Mount Pleasant, Charleston, West Ashley and Summerville. Open with all your breakfast, lunch and dinner favorites!
