Minero moved from its original ground floor location on East Bay to a large, airy upstairs space. There is a beautiful bar with mostly booth seating. The margaritas were so delicious I ordered a second one (rare for me). Their signature cocktail is a frozen tequila concoction called El Satanico that’s delicious but very strong. It was very family friendly with lots of young children but still had an adult atmosphere.

Everything we had was delicious. The smooth queso and chunky guacamole were served with a bag of fresh, warm chips. The wings were tossed with Valentina sauce in a brown paper bag tableside and came out tasty and not overly spicy. I enjoyed a very large burrito full of fresh ingredients.

This is a casual Mexican eatery with a fun and lively environment. Good for people watching, feeling “in the scene,” but getting a filling, delicious meal.
